Since Delwedd was established in 1998 by Michael Roberts (Mike), supporting the local community has been very important to us.
Previously, we have created a website free of charge for a local good cause every year. Some examples of these are Gafael Llaw, Cofio Robin, Menter Cymunedol Bethel, Caernarfon Town FC, Gŵyl Y Felinheli Festival and MNDA: North West Wales Support Group.
We continue to sponsor and support these, and more, with some of them having revamped their website a number of times over the years, at no extra cost.
We have now decided, rather than creating a free website, to set up the Delwedd Community Fund, in memory of Mike. He strongly believed in community projects and did a great deal for his local community before he died in 2017.
The intention in creating the fund is to enable us to support even more people in our local area.
We have a pot of money to share with local organisations, teams or projects, so if you are looking for money for your association, we want to hear from you.
We are looking to completely or partly fund anything from sponsoring a sports team kit to money towards a defibrillator, new equipment for your club or organisation, sponsoring an event, or anything in between!
The Requirements:
- Applications up to a maximum of £1,000 each
- The money needs to benefit the local community
- Located in Gwynedd or Anglesey
Your application should include a breakdown of how the money will be used and how it will benefit the local community.
